2 white dyes and one black while going for the dull carapaces for nicholas in pre-searing. Never had that much luck before.

Last night I was doing vanquish of a norn area and the first two wurms I killed both dropped golds, I thought this is going to be a great run. But got nothing after that, not even a blue :s

Last week when VQing Drakkar Lake I picked up a yellow q12 tactics shield with both +30hp and -2/stance mods. So I salvaged them both, crafted a q9 strength shield and plugged them both in. \o/

Then the next day I scored a black dye while pugging Bloodstone Fen on an alt in nm. The rest of the party were not amused.

i was getting my mes run thru shards dungeon HM and the chest dropped 2 BDS.
that, and 419 bones were all i got from that run.

I was doing a solo rit UW run, and getting very annoyed that I was almost done with the chaos planes and even after clearing the chamber and twin serpent mountains I had no decent drops and no ectos to show for it. And killing the mindblade spectres was just getting so annoying because you have to go through so many damn waves of them.

Right after I started whining about it though, the next group of mindblades I fought dropped 2 ectos and a black dye.

I got the idea that you could use drakes on the plain quest to farm for drake flesk for Thackeray. Yes I got some flesh but most of the drakes are foreign species that dont drop flesh. But one of them dropped me a req8 max flame artifact. It was a grand drake that normally belongs to Kryta, but being in NF it was inscribable. Which lead me to think, there are obsidian furnace dragons from FOW in that quest, could they drop shards? That is to be confirmed, I have had both white worthless shadow bows and also native NF items like scythes drop from them but no shards.

I don't know about shards but they did drop a non-max gold chaos axe for me so I would assume they could but the chance is probably pretty small.
